Kim Kardashian Wistfully Comments on Her Eternal Future

Edit: this is truly pathetic, but probably (and tragically) true. It reminds us of what a hoary Jesuit of great antiquity once told us retreatants, "If you want to know the failures of the world, look in the newspaper." As an Armenian Christian, she must have some presentiment of these words.

y'all know this is a send-up, right? I mean really...kim kardashian has all the wit of an overcooked asparagus spear; and not quite the brain-power. But she has a mighty BIG butt and a sex tape, and after all, isn't that what really counts today?

She'll be 1st Lady in 4 1/2 years.

Similarly, and possibly coincidentally:

Maybe the Rev. F. Bechina will take a quick run up I-94 to defend the academic freedom of the Catholic professor at Marquette. I'll pay your tolls and meet you up there next week, Rev. Fred, as I am going to be up there Monday thru Thursday. I'll even do a beer and a brat with you at the Brewers game, or at the Admirals hockey game if they are in the playoffs. I'll pass on the brewery tours, however, as I'll be in interviews and other meetings during normal working hours, but maybe you did the Frat House beer tour at ND after the faculty happy hours and administration cocktail parties.

If I miss you, will you be anywhere near Austin, Texas in May? They do have a nice Cathedral down there along with some German, Polish and Czech parish churches around San Antonio that somehow have not been wreckovated yet.

@KimKerkiegaardashian is a great parody account, providing hilarious mashups of the Danish philosopher with the vacuous celebrity.

But no, it's not her.

Nope, not April 1. But it should be.
